TOP TIP – Prepare your firm: Don’t let passwords be your weakest link

Ahead of our Risky Business Roadshow, Pearl Moses from The Law Society of England and Wales explains why it is so important to have a password policy that all your staff are aware of:

“The use of passwords can be one of the weakest links in providing an effective barrier against cyber attacks (unbelievably the most commonly used web passwords are still things like “123456” and “password”), so you need to ensure everyone in your firm practices secure password management.

If you don’t already have a password policy, create one – and make sure all staff are aware of it and adhere to it.”
