What do you do in your day-to-day job?
I work with all sizes of firms in the legal sector getting to know people and their businesses to see how my long-standing experience in the industry can help them. This can be through regular review meetings, full training and refresher sessions on the tmconvey platform, and industry events to name but a few. I work with all teams across tmgroup to ensure we are giving the best service and support to our clients.
When did you start?
I started working at tmgroup in June 2004.
How have you progressed in your role since joining?
I came into the business as a Trainer and progressed to Client Service Manager. I was promoted to Senior Client Service Manager and am currently Client Relationship Manager. I have been involved in many projects across the business, including website enhancement focus groups, Customer Service training, product development and testing, and new employee induction.
Why do you like working at tmgroup?
There is a fantastic camaraderie at tmgroup and the whole company is people-focused whether that is the employees or clients. They care about their employees well-being and have various programmes and schemes in place that we take advantage of. We have a fantastic employee recognition programme where we award points to our colleagues and these are rewarded with individual and team prizes.
My role also gives me variety and job satisfaction and I feel involved with the company and future decisions. Things have changed over the many years I have been with tmgroup, but the core focus and values haven’t. tmgroup recognise skills and are keen to develop their employees, I have attended courses both internal and external for work and personal development which has helped shape my career and progress in the company.
What do I do outside of work?
Outside of work I love travelling and planning my next adventure. I also help people plan their perfect trip to Orlando, as I am a theme park fan and it gives me a good excuse to return as often as possible! Further afield, I like experiencing different cultures and have more recently discovered a love for Japan. Closer to home I am kept busy with family, as well as naughty and noisy cats. I have also worked for years with a local animal charity to raise funds and rehome animals. My main hobby is building miniature houses, rooms and scenes and this is a great outlet for creativity.
