What do you do in your day-to-day job?
As Head of Client Services, I work with a fabulous team and ensure that they have all that they need in terms of training and tools to sustain the high quality service we offer to our clients. Alongside this, I spend time identifying opportunities to improve the client experience, implement change strategy and of course I am always here to help any client when needed! The role offers a lot of variety and I am privileged to work with many different people within tmgroup.
When did you start?
I joined tmgroup in September 2019, just a few months before the world went crazy!
How have you progressed in your role since joining?
2019 got off to the start I had hoped and I was able to get a good understating of the business and build great relationships across the wider tmgroup team. By the start of 2020, I initiated a number of internal projects which (like many around the world) needed to be paused when COVID-19 hit. Into 2021, we are again pressing on hard with many of the projects planned and I am hopeful we can start to say goodbye to BCP and hello to BAU! On the back of the challenges from 2020, I have just recently completed a business leadership course with the University of the West of England which focussed on business modelling post COVID-19. I will also shortly be completing a week’s course on Positive Mental Health and Wellbeing.
Why do you like working at tmgroup?
Honestly, I am not sure where to start! Many businesses claim a culture of support and wellbeing, but I have never seen a business that lives and breathes this alongside other core values the way tmgroup does. And then there are the people, who only two weeks after starting my role in 2019, made my family and I feel so welcome at the tmgroup family fun day!
What do I do outside of work?
I have a family, with 3 children that keep me very busy! If I’m not running around after one of them, then we like to get out to National Trust places or out for walks. If I’m very lucky, I may get to sneak out for dinner with Mrs Meek!
