Mapping issues in Edge and Chrome

A small number of our customers have reported a problem with our mapping solution. We’ve investigated and found that it’s impacting those currently switching away from Microsoft Internet Explorer – as it will be unsupported from 15th June 2022 onwards – towards alternative browsers including Microsoft Edge (Chromium) or Google Chrome browsers.

We’ve investigated and found that it’s impacting those currently switching away from Microsoft Internet Explorer – as it will be unsupported from 15th June 2022 onwards – towards alternative browsers including Microsoft Edge (Chromium) or Google Chrome browsers.

What’s the problem?

Where Microsoft Edge (Chromium) or Google Chrome browsers are being used, in some cases, the ‘create plan’ page in tmconvey does not always load correctly. This is due to a known bug in the Chromium engine.

How do I fix it?

Please alert your IT team and let them know that we believe the root cause to be this bug in the Chromium engine that both Edge and Chrome use.

If you can also call our client services team and give them as much information as possible this will help us develop our own interim solution until Google fix the issue.
