Monthly Poll: Does your flood report consider groundwater flood risk?

Flooding is the biggest natural threat that the UK faces and, in England alone, more than 5 million properties are at risk, equivalent to nearly 1 in 6.

However, it is just not just the risk of coastal or river flooding that poses a threat to properties in the UK, there are types of flooding that many property owners are simply not aware of, amongst which is Groundwater flooding.

This occurs when underground water levels rise above surface level and is most likely to occur in low lying areas underlain by permeable rocks.

Not all environmental searches include information on groundwater flood, so we’re asking:

Does the flood report you normally order for your client consider groundwater flood risk? >>

Thank you for taking part, we’ll let you know the results of the poll next month.
