This year saw our very own Michael Arnold and Mike Mayne (the two not wearing the tutu’s) compete in a hardcore 12 mile-long obstacle course designed by the Special Forces to test all around strength, stamina, mental grit and camaraderie.
The Tough Mudder South West course is based in Brecon Beacons. So as well as contending with a mixture of rolling parkland and grueling hill climbs up the famous post glacial formations they also had no fewer than 20 obstacles to defeat.

The pair completed the course in just over 2 hours 30 minutes which is quicker than the course average. By successfully completing this challenge they have helped to raise just over £2500 for Penny Brohne Cancer care.
