The 20th November saw the Derby Riverside Centre taken over by key figures of the conveyancing industry, creating a buzzing atmosphere at the SLC Annual Conference 2013.
Hosted by broadcaster and financial journalist Paul Lewis, who is best known for presenting the BBC’s Money Box programme on Radio 4. The day saw a variety of keynote speakers taking the stand including Ed Lester of The Land Registry, Mark Stobbs from the Law Society and Paul Broadhead, Chairman of the BSA. The conference saw a range of topics covered throughout the day, it became apparent when the delegates were invited to question the panel that the hot topics were referral fees and fraudulent activities.
