tmGroup rebrands Verify 365 as tmVerify, bringing AML and identity verification fully into its conveyancing platform

The rebrand marks a new chapter for the product, with expanded features including Law Society TA Forms now available as part of client onboarding.

Swindon, July 2026. tmGroup, one of the UK’s leading conveyancing technology providers, has rebranded its Verify 365 identity and AML verification product as tmVerify. The change brings the product fully under the tmGroup brand, reflecting its position as an integrated part of the company’s conveyancing platform rather than a standalone solution.

Verify 365 was acquired as part of tmGroup’s purchase of Lawtech Software Group in March 2024, with integration into tmGroup’s platforms completing in June of that year. The rebrand to tmVerify formalises that integration and signals tmGroup’s intention to continue developing the product as a core part of its offer to law firms.

For existing customers, the change is in name only. The team, the support model, and the day-to-day experience of using the product remain the same.

New features alongside the rebrand

The rebrand is accompanied by the addition of Law Society TA Forms within the tmVerify onboarding workflow. Property buyers and sellers can now complete their TA Forms, the standard Law Society property information questionnaires, as part of the same onboarding process used for identity checks and source of funds verification. This removes the need for firms to collect this information separately, reducing the number of touchpoints with clients at the start of a transaction.

“Bringing Verify 365 fully under the tmGroup brand is the natural next step after two years of integration work. tmVerify now sits at the heart of the client onboarding journey, connected to the wider platform in a way that a standalone product simply could not be. That connection is what allows us to add capabilities like TA Forms, giving firms a single, coherent onboarding process rather than a collection of separate tasks. The name has changed, but the team and the service that customers have come to rely on have not.”

Mark Hailwood, Chief Product Officer, tmGroup

tmVerify already includes biometric identity verification with NFC chip-reading technology, source of funds checks via open banking, sanctions and PEP screening, and full audit trails for SRA and AML compliance. The product meets HM Land Registry’s Digital ID Safe Harbour Standard and holds Approved Supplier status with the Law Society of Scotland.
